This week I secured a property on the Gold Coast for my clients who arrived from the UK 6 weeks ago.
 
They did not want to rent due to the competition and had the money to buy however their chosen price range was a real challenge at $520K.
 
The Gold coast unit market is tight, there is a real lack of stock from the south to the north. When I say lack of stock I mean lack of good stock.
 
It is a stark reminder how real the effects of low supply and high demand has on the market. Properties were going under contract after the first inspection with multiple offers.

We secured a great unit in a rare small complex on an attractive street and proximity to the M1 and shops.
 
Due to prices edging higher in this price range over the last few months we acted quickly with the most attractive terms to have the edge over other buyers.
 
There were 4 offers and the highest was $537K. We secured it for $525K.
 
It really does pay to have a buyers agent on your side.
